Mark Alewine

Mark Alewine has a BS Degree in Agricultural Business/Education from Sam Houston State University.  Mark started out as a consultant and advisor for farmers and ranchers at Prairie View A&M University.  In 1991 Mark was hired on as an administrator at the Brenham State School. This is where he was given the opportunity to integrate his passion for computers and technology with teaching. In 1997 the State School underwent a massive rollout with a brand new desktop system. This gave Mark the opportunity to join the training team to oversee the teaching aspects of this venture. He continued in the training department teaching a variety of courses. Due to an re-organization process in 2004, the State School lost their HR department. This In turn caused all HR functions to become available only online. With the school having hundreds of employees with no computer experience, this opened up additional training opportunities for Mark.

In December 2005 Mark become a University of Texas employee as a Training Specialist II. He is currently teaching PeopleSoft FMS and HRMS classes.
