Room Policies
When booking a training room it is the scheduler’s responsibility to adhere to the room policies.
Which are as follows:
- Inform instructor of training room policies
- Cancel the room reservation ASAP if the training facility will not be needed.
- Make any additional table arrangements, if needed.
- Plan extra time before class to prepare the room and become familiar with equipment operation.
- Contact the CSS Helpdesk @ 713-500-4848 to make arrangements well in advance to schedule any installation and un-installation of special software prior to and after class completion.
- Contact the CSS Helpdesk @713-500-4848 for any hardware/software problems.
- Follow the posted instructions in each Training Room on using the audio visual equipment.
- Please do not use dry erase markers on the smartboards.
At the conclusion of class, restore the room to its original condition:
- Delete all extra electronic files or folders created for class on the PCs.
- Verify un-installation of all software.
- Turn off the overhead projector.
- Shut down all computers, except on Wednesdays.
- Wednesdays only, logoff all computers for the weekly network update.
- Lower all chairs and push them neatly under desks.
- Make sure all keyboards and their mouse are positioned in front of the monitors.
- Erase and clean all white boards.
- Erase all names tents and put them away.
- Discard all used flip chart sheets.
- Remove any surplus training materials.
- Restore order to desks and chairs.
- Remove all trash.
